Preparation -
- Tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces. I prefer to tear them rather than cut them with a knife.
- Dice the tomato and cucumber into small cubes
- Mix the yogurt/dahi, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber.
- Add the salt and pepper to taste
- Take one chapati and put this mixture in it.
- Roll it
They call it a Vegetarian Chalupa here.. down south. I call it roti+raita .. a nice healthy snack!
ReplyDeleteI didnt know that! Well one can add boiled egg as well to make it more substantial
ReplyDeleteThen it would become a non-vegetarian Chalupa
ReplyDeleteInstead of the chapati, wrap it in uncut iceberg lettuce leave... morehealthy and crunchy.
